Chicago
End of July 2008, Malaya and I took a trip to Chicago, IL. A first time for both of us. Pete and Lauren were getting married in Arlington Heights, a suburb of Chicago.Chicago is a great town. We focused on a few of the stuff that Chicago is famous for, as any tourist would do. At the top of that list Deep Dish Pizza, Chicago style hot dogs, Steak and Wrigley Field.
Typical of me… 3 of the 4 listed above are food.
For Deep Dish Pizza we tried two places. First, Pizzeria Due, which is somehow related to Pizzeria Uno. I whould have known from the get go, that Due would have been a disappointement, but I took some friends recommendations into consideration, that Uno/Due isn’t the same in Chicago as it is in the rest of the States. Well… from my experience, it’s EXACTLY the same. Never again. Read more
The marriage of two great things: iphone & wordpress
I love Wordpress.

I LOVE my Wordpress app for my iPhone!!!
With the release of the 2.0 software for the iPhone I was hoping that there would be a wordpress app.. My dreams have come true.

Just for fun, I’m going to take a photo with my iPhone and drop it in to this post. Hmmm… How about a photo of my coffee mug…
BeerFest 2008 @ My Pad
This post includes a collection of 4 videos, that, unless you were there or know me and my friends will make absolutely no sense. So I feel I owe an explanation…
May 16th, 2008, I invited a handful of friends to help me polish off fifty-some bottles of beer. Why? Well, there really doesn’t need to be any reason to drink beer among close friends, but I did have a good reason. I recently picked up a new hobby of brewing my own beer, and rather than spend $10 for a dozen empty bottles to hold my beer, I decided to buy packs of 12 for ~$14, and get a chance to enjoy some brew.
PMD Snow Trip – 2002
Another video I wanted to archive on my blog…
This is one of the first videos I created using Final Cut Pro (”Pro” being an element of the software’s title and by NO MEANS a description of the user). It’s a fun video, and it’s always great to look back at old home movies.
This wasn’t nearly as cool as the video produced by Anton two years later, that I posted earlier
Note to self: I need to get Angelo’s 2005 snow trip video. Hook it up Gelo!
